Business Support

Green Growth Accelerator Project (GGAP)

GGAP is part of the Bristol Community Climate Action which is acting on climate and inequality through the co-creation of community-led climate action plans. Under GGAP, we deliver bespoke one-to-one business support for refugee and migrant-led businesses based in Bristol and support them in becoming more sustainable – environmentally, socially, and economically – and explore ways to minimize the businesses’ carbon footprint.

Our business support is free and available to anyone from a migrant or refugee background, does not have to be third-country national, and currently living in Bristol.

Community Climate Action Lottery Fund

The Migrant Business Support was project run between 2021 to 2023 designed to help entrepreneurs from a migrant background navigate the world of business and get their ideas up and running, or advance a pre-existing business. We're proud to have partnered with the West of England Combined Authority (WECA) and the University of Bristol on this project.

Migrant Business Support Report

This report presents findings from a study of the innovative Migrant Business Support Project (MBS), led by ACH. It is an example of the positive impact on individual and community lives that is possible when leadership is informed by learned and lived experience. The findings demonstrate what is possible when business support focuses on a broad and holistic conception of social and economic progress, integration, empowerment, and inclusion.
